EARTH DAY/GLOBAL SERVICE DAY 2010
GRAB YOUR SHOVEL, SHARPEN THAT RAKE, PULL ON YOUR GLOVES.
In recognition of EARTH DAY and the GLOBAL SERVICE DAY, the MSAA is organizing a community clean-up event to take place at and in the block surrounding the US Post Office at 794 Marietta Street.
We are seeking up to 25 volunteers to help clear the Post Office property and surrounding street frontages of weeds and debris. Emphasis will be focused on revitalizing the small green space fronting Marietta Street. Volunteers should be prepared for light gardening type work, weeding, sweeping, etc. Water will be provided.
