We had a good meeting yesterday
regarding the Artery's future role in
development and planning and how we can work with Central Atlanta
Progress
to participate in:
- CDP (Comprehensive Development Plan)
- CIP (Capital Improvements Program)
- LCI (Livable Cities Initiative)...funding to make it happen
We also discussed combining efforts with neighboring communities
and
associations including:
- Home Park
- Downtown Neighborhood Association
- Fairlie Poplar
- Northwest Community Alliance
There may be an opportunity to create an Overlay for the Artery.
Rhodes Perdue will be contacting Central Atlanta Progress to arrange
a
meeting.
Bill Gould will be forwarding maps of Artery boundaries to John
Reagan.
Curt Flaherty will be checking on establishing the Artery as a non-profit.
The Home Park Master Plan is on display until today at Kool Korner
(14th &
State) from 11:00-2:00 and from 6:00-8:00.
Thanks again to Mark Riley and John Reagan for picking up lunch.
